We have 3 Piste de Petanque at the Rivonia Recreation Club Achter Rd, off Witkoppen, Paulshof.
We normally play after work on Tuesdays at 6.00pm and Fridays at 6pm. Every piste is flood lit so there is no problem for the evenings.
However, the club is open every day, and by arrangement we can loan Balls for Petanque to visitors to play whenever they wish. The club closes its bar early on Mondays but the rest of the week is until the last visitor.
For the moment the membership for Petanque runs from August to August and the cost for using the Petanque facilities is R.500 per year. This includes the very reasonable bar prices. Catering is also available on weekends and by arrangement during the week.
The R.500 is of course on a pro rata basis or an individual can pay R15 per visit per person.
Other facilities at the club include Tennis and Lawn Bowls.
